Melissa “DJ Meli Mel” Ibarra, Female DJ from Sacramento CA. Meli Mel started to DJ in 2009 after going out to house parties with friends. She loved the way the DJ at the house party was in control of the crowd and everyone’s happiness. Right after that night she went to go get a laptop and a mixer. As she started to get booked for small events her name started to blow, everyone was amazed by her skills and that she was a female dj on the rise. Meli Mel was unstoppable. Now she’s working with huge artist such as Yung Bleu, JI The Prince Of NY, Lil Tjay, and many more. Meli Mel has hit the road with Nef The Pharaoh, SOB X RBE, Show Banga, Chippass.

How long have you been DJing for?
I’ve been DJing for 13 years.
What are your goals?
My goals as a DJ is to be a international DJ. I want to be known world wide.
Who or what inspires you?
When I first started to dj I was inspired by DJ Carisma she’s the hottest female dj in LA, I’ve always looked up to her, when I met her she put me on game about a lot of thing I’ll never forget the advice she gave me and she always told me to keep pushin and as a female dj it’s hard in the Industry but to never give up no matter what. I’ve always stuck to that and look where I am now. I’ve accomplished alot.

My top 5 DJs are
DJ Mustard, Diplo, DJ Carisma, Marshmello and Steve Aoki
It’s not in order but I’ve always looked up to them since I started to DJ
