Tell the people about yourself.
Andre “BLAPDRE” Frazier grew up in the Bay area. Started off rapping then slowly switched to becoming a full time engineer/producer/manager. Began working with bay area artist Nef the pharaoh who then introduced me to SOB x RBE and from there the rest was history. We created our own unique sound and ended up going going on world tours and eventually going gold.
How long have you been engineering for?
Ive been engineering for 10+ years now but I definitely engineer less now and focus more on the A&R and Management side of things. Building artist up, collabing with producers, and coming up with roll out strategies.
What are your goals?
My goal is to have every artist that I currently work with go platinum. And then to be able to pass the torch to the next generation of raw talent.
Who or what inspires you?
It inspires me when an artist actually wants to invest into their craft and take it to the next level. Its so easy to get into the studio and record a song now a days you rarely find an artist willing to put a budget behind their growth. And actually want to come up with a strategy for release or marketing. Ive worked with some of the rawest talent so i understand the importance of the roll out and how it can take a record to the next platform.
